“I thoroughly enjoyed reading Nycteris Heart Shattered, especially the large print edition. The formatting made it comfortable and enjoyable to read, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the story. One of my favorite things about this sequel was how the core characters remained true to who they were in the first book. Selen and Aetherios continued to grow while still feeling like the characters readers fell in love with from the beginning. I also loved the addition of the new characters, Whack Jack and Whack Jane. They brought a unique charm to the story and added some memorable moments throughout the book. Their presence, combined with the sarcastic humor woven into the narrative, provided perfect balance to the more intense and emotional scenes. The ending was satisfying and left me excited to see what happens next in the Nycteris world. I was especially pleased with how one of the villains was finally dealt with after everything that had happened. It felt earned and gave the story a strong sense of payoff.
